Guides guide hub

Nivalis Nights is an unreleased cyberpunk slice-of-life simulation from ION LANDS and 505 Games. This guide hub is the safest place to begin because it separates what the official Steam page promises from what can only be checked once the game is playable. The current planned release is September 29, 2026, and the store listing describes a full release rather than an Early Access launch. That date is a status snapshot, not a guarantee that can be repeated forever.

Evidence status: Product identity, AppID 1488490, developer, publisher, planned date, broad loop, platforms, and features are Official. Detailed unlock order, economy values, character names, fish tables, recipes, district layouts, and relationship thresholds are Needs live testing. This independent guide is not affiliated with ION LANDS, 505 Games, or Valve.

Start with the product boundary

Use the official Steam listing as the canonical identity check. The current title is Nivalis Nights, the AppID is 1488490, the developer is ION LANDS, and the publisher is 505 Games. Older announcements may say Nivalis, but they refer to the same product identity rather than a second game. Do not import Cloudpunk guides, a fan wiki for another game, or generic cyberpunk-management advice as if it were a verified mechanic.

The store page calls the game Adventure, RPG, and Simulation and tags it with cyberpunk, life sim, management, fishing, cooking, romance, story-rich, and resource-management ideas. Tags are useful for describing search intent, not proof of a particular button, reward, or formula. When a page on this site says “the game lets you,” it should be traceable to the store page, an official community post, or a later live check.

Understand the first-session loop

The broad loop is deliberately open-ended. The store description begins with a humble noodle stand and points toward restaurants and nightclubs. A day can be spent growing a business, meeting people, decorating an apartment, going to the docks, fishing from a boat, or entering a mini-game. That means a beginner guide should offer choices rather than pretend there is one optimal build.

Start by learning how the current build divides a day. Identify which activities consume time, which actions produce ingredients, and which decisions change a relationship or business state. Then choose one concrete first-session goal: understand the first food business, stock ingredients, meet a resident, test transport, or decorate a room. A focused goal gives a new player a way to judge the city without turning every unknown into a spoiler.

The beginner guide turns that approach into a launch checklist. Until the game is live, it intentionally avoids invented currency values, recipes, staff numbers, or unlock levels. Those omissions are a trust feature: a pre-release page should not turn a screenshot or a community guess into a permanent rule.

Read the release and platform status correctly

Nivalis Nights is planned for Steam on Windows 10/11 64-bit. The store lists 16 GB of RAM and 30 GB of storage, with a dedicated graphics card carrying at least 6 GB of VRAM for minimum requirements and 8 GB for the recommended tier. DirectX 11 is listed as minimum and DirectX 12 as recommended. The official FAQ says PC is the main focus, full controller support is planned, and Steam Cloud saves are supported.

The game is not yet available at the time of this audit. There is no safe public base-game BuildID or branch to quote, so this site uses “planned full release” instead of a fake version number. A release-status page should be checked again close to launch and should record changes only from the Steam page or official ION LANDS and 505 Games communication.

Use the evidence labels

Every detailed article should label its evidence. “Official” means the Steam store, an official ION LANDS channel, or an official 505 Games announcement states the claim. “Official community FAQ” is also strong, but it may describe a planned feature rather than a final implementation. “Live verified” means the writer tested the released build and recorded the build date. “Community lead” can point players toward a question, but it must not be presented as a fact without corroboration.

When a mechanic is unknown, write the question and the verification method. For example: “Does fishing consume a full day, a time block, or only travel time? Check the boat controls, the clock before departure, and the clock after returning.” This is more useful than a guessed number and gives later editors a clean update task.

Keep the guide useful before launch

Pre-release readers usually want three answers: when they can play, whether their computer is ready, and what kind of game the product is. Keep those answers above speculative details. Link to Businesses, City, Fishing, Relationships, Activities, and Systems when the reader wants a focused subject.

Do not publish a Codes hub simply because another game wiki has one. No official Nivalis Nights redemption system was identified in this audit. Do not call the game multiplayer or co-op: the official FAQ describes it as single-player. Do not promise a completely open world: the FAQ says players can freely explore certain districts while other areas remain background environments.

Launch-day checklist

On release day, confirm the Steam title and AppID before testing anything. Record the public build if Steam exposes one, then verify the main menu, control settings, save behavior, first business, boat access, fishing loop, apartment customization, relationship choices, mini-games, photo mode, and the first update notes. Capture only information that the game itself displays or that official documentation states.

When the build changes, update volatile pages first: requirements, controls, saves, business unlocks, ingredients, fishing, city access and relationship outcomes. Keep broad pages stable and add a dated change note rather than rewriting history. This hub should remain a map of the site, not a place where every unverified rumor is collected.
