What the table does not promise
A minimum specification does not promise a fixed frame rate, a particular resolution, or the same experience in every district. Nivalis includes a large city, weather, businesses, boats, and first-person views. A performance report should identify its scene and settings. Do not tell a player that meeting the minimum guarantees high settings or smooth ultrawide play.
If the game offers graphics presets, begin with the recommended preset and lower one setting at a time. Record the result rather than copying a generic optimization list. A patch may improve shaders or change a default, so keep the build date visible.
Verify controller support
The official FAQ says full controller support will be included. On the released build, test walking, interaction, boat steering, fishing, business menus, apartment placement, chess, photo mode, and save menus. Record the controller model, prompt labels, vibration behavior, and whether the game permits remapping.
If the prompt still shows keyboard symbols, check the input setting before calling support broken. If a control is unavailable, quote the game’s own help text. Keep a compact control table and link the detailed live notes to Updates when a patch changes it.
Cloud saves and offline play
Steam Cloud is listed as a feature, while the FAQ explains that normal play does not require an internet connection beyond platform update needs and that cloud saves need a connection. Test local saving with the platform offline, then reconnect and read the sync prompt carefully. Never delete a local save to resolve a conflict without a verified backup procedure.
This matters for choice-heavy relationships and business progress. If a guide suggests keeping a backup before a risky choice, it must distinguish the game’s own save slots from Steam Cloud synchronization. The final procedure belongs to the actual release build.
